Brand Acquisition - Marketplace

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•     Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and sign new brands for Zalora
•     Serve as a key member of the brand acquisition team in helping to define and deliver the strategy of effective brand acqusition
•     Comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and convincing in person and via phone for new suppliers
•     Have a thorough understanding of the fashion industry and understand the relevant brands that can sell on Zalora
•     Have a complete understanding of the brands that customer needs
•     Maintain and execute against a list of KPIs for brand acquisition
•     Be motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where every idea is heard
•     Will have an interest in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
•     Provide clear communication to Sellers on the benefits of selling on Zalora
•     Develop analysis to track brand acquisition performance. Create goals and strategies to realize positive growth for brand acquisition team
•     Develop and interpret daily and weekly performance summaries to be used internally and externally
•     Remain current on competitive landscape; identifies opportunities and threats as it relates to online market in Indonesia

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

•     Previous sales experience and possibly proven on-line Sales experience in ecommerce is a major plus
•     Excellent or fluent English skills required
•     Excellent or fluent Bahassa skills required
•     Great project management skills
•     Great communication skills
•     Exceptional time management skills
•     Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
•     A dynamic, results driven personality, high level of enthusiasm and commitment
•     Ambition to exceed expectations and rise ranks within the buying division
